Christie Dawn Williams

Christie “McGill” Williams was born on July 3 rd, 1975 in Knoxville Tennessee, She passed away on June 8 th, 2024, in her home. She grew up in Sevier County. She loved being a nurse in the early days. She would always take care of anyone who needed it. You would see her sitting outside enjoying nature, Christie loved sunflowers and butterflies. Her favorite color was green. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandson Oliver. Her kids and grandson were the light of her life.

Christie is preceded in death by her father Stephen McGill, Grandparents JC and Marjorie McGill, and Grandmother Barbara Warpool.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Deborah Redding: husband, Buddy Williams, and their three children Kayla, Christopher, and Clay Williams: grandson, Oliver Williams-Osborne: brother, Bo Dixon and wife Mallory: Uncle Jim Warpool and wife Jolie: aunt, Patti Warpool “Aunt p” and other family and friends.

Funeral service for Christie will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Little Cove Baptist Church, 1714 Little Cove Road, Sevierville, TN 37862, with Jim McGill officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Little Cove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Williams, Christopher Williams, Clay Williams, Jim Warpool, Bo Dixon and Luke Osborne.

In lieu of flowers, the family request, monetary donations be made to Hux & Lipford Funeral Home, 300 West Main Street, Mountain City, TN 37683 to assist with the services.
