Christopher D Wilson

Christopher D. Wilson, age 50, of Mountain city, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 in Johnston Memorial Hospital.  He was born August 25, 1973 in Boone, NC to Donna Wilson.

Christopher had a love for animals and the great outdoors.  He enjoyed hunting ginseng, collecting eagles, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Donna Wilson, those left to cherish his memory include, his son, Matthew Bunton (fiancé Jennifer Kellis); mother of his son, Melodie Bunton;  aunt Rita Jennings (Tony); aunt Kim Talamonti (Joe); cousin, Beth Morley (Chris); cousin, Mackenzie Johnson (Matthew); cousins, Matthew and Anthony Talamonti and special friends, Bucky Salmons, Joe Lunceford, Tina Tilley, Doug McFadden and Pam Hicks also survive.

Funeral service for Christopher will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 1 pm in the Buford Lipford Chapel at Hux & Lipford funeral Home with Tony Potter officiating and Tony Jennings to eulogize. The family will receive friends from 12 pm - 1 pm prior to the service.  Graveside service will follow at the Parks Cemetery in Trade, TN.

At other times friends may call the home of his mother, Donna Wilson at 790 Red Brush Road.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hayworth, Joe Mains, Jackie Harless, Randy Howard, Johnny Church and Tim Prince.
