Cline L. Sluder

Cline L. Sluder, age 63, of 1583 Highway 133, Shady Valley, TN passed away Thursday, September 29, 2005 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Mr. Sluder was a native of Johnson County and was born October 9, 1941 to the late Ottis Sluder and Letha Wright Sluder of Shady Valley, TN. He was a Army Veteran where he served as a Medic and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors other than his mother Wife: Kathy Sluder of the Home One Daughter: Charlotte Barry and husband Tony of Shady Valley, TN Two Son: David Sluder and wife Judy of Shady Valley, TN. Teddy Wallace of Shady Valley Four Brothers: Herbert Sluder and wife Betty of Winchester, VA,Alton Sluder and Wife Shirley, Curtis Sluder and wife Linda and Kenneth Sluder and wife Eula all of Shady Valley, TN. One Grandchild : Ashton Cline Barry Several Nieces and Nephews, Three Special Nieces and Nephews, Patty, Jackie and Tim. Special Friends: Michelle Atwood, Vicky, Connie, Dr. Davis, Gina, Dr. Allerton and Carla. Funeral services will be held 8:00 p. m. Monday, October 3, 2005 from the Henson Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jim Sherman to officiate. Graveside services and burial will be held 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, October 4, 2005 from the Shady Valley Memorial Gardens. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Buck Bumgardner, Tim Sluder, Harold Wilcox, Dowell Rutherford The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p. m. Monday at the Henson Funeral Home and Friends may call at the residence, 1583 Highway 133, Shady Valley, TN at anytime. A special thank you to Johnson County Home Health Care and Mediserve of Johnson City. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shady Valley Fire Department First Responders.
