Cory John Howard

Cory was taken from us too soon, on November 1, 2016. Born October 7, 1991, he was only 25.

He was one of a kind, always the loud one, making everyone laugh, always smiling.

He loved and cared so deeply for his family and friends. He definitely had his own hard headed point of views on life, but he was still so accepting and understanding. He’d never met a stranger that he couldn’t talk to. He left an everlasting impression that we can’t help but love and smile about. Now, the Lord is giving him a grand tour of his eternal home. He was preceded in death by his birth mother; Connie Lee Vinkle and his brother; Nicholaus Craig Vinkle.

Cory is survived by: his son; Mason Howard, his wife; Crystina Howard, his father in law; Keith Guy, his mother in law and step father in law; Rodi Bijeaux and Norman Bijeaux, his grandparents; Crystal Guy and Howard Guy, his mother; Elsie Moyers, his birth father; Terry Howard, his brothers and sisters; Keith Guy, Ian Maynard, Vanessa Johnson, Matthew Moyers, and Bryant Moyers. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Cory will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 from the Piney Grove Church in Poga. The family will receive friends from 10am-12pm from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Following the visitation we will go in procession to the church for the funeral service. Michael Nunley and Doc Miller will be officiating.

Graveside and interment will follow in Poga Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are: Dakoda Phipps, Keith Guy, Leith Lee Guy, Ian Maynard, Devon McCormack, Josh Ruiz, Mike Emanuel, and Matthew Moyers.
