Dallas Dwight Tester

February 10, 1941 — June 3, 2010

Dallas Dwight Tester, age 69, of 250 Joe Tester Lane, Mountain City, TN passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late S. Clyde and Opal Garland Tester. Dwight enjoyed fishing, camping and playing pool. In addition to his parents, a son Dallas Zane Tester preceded him in death in 1983. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors are:

1 Son and wife, Jeff and Michelle Tester, Newton, NC

1 Sister, Zellarhea Sheets Hammons, Morganton, NC

3 Grandchildren, Logan Tester, Brooks Tester and Shay Pearlman

2 Great Grandchildren, Jordan Tester and Jonas Pearlman

Funeral services for Dallas Dwight Tester will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010 from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. James Norman officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Smith, J. D. Cable, Tom Icenhour, Frank Tester, Jack Arnold, Robert Lippard and David Snyder.

Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Arnold, Sidney Main, Norman Tester, Jackie Ward, Terry Thomas and Danny Herman.

Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 till 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Church.

Teague Funeral Home is serving the Tester family.
