Dana M Roark

We are saddened to announce the passing of Dana M. Roark, age 64, at his residence in Illinois. He was born November 2, 1956 to the late Willie and Hazel Roark. Dana was a retired US Army veteran having served 22 years. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Shannon Roark; daughters Jennifer Roark of the Netherlands and Alison Roark of Illinois; sons: Louis F.M. Roark of California; Dana M. Roark, Jr. of Georgia and Willie A. Roark of Illinois; brother Willie E. Roark and wife Melissa of Roan Mountain, TN; an aunt Stella Rose Tester of Mountain City, TN; one niece Faith Roark; one nephew Steven Roark and wife Debbie of Shady Valley, TN and special friends Paul Huskins of Mountain City, TN and Davd Johnson of Kentucky. A graveside service with military honors accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11 am. in Dunn Memorial Cemetery with Minister Dwayne Dickson officiating.
