Darrell Heaton

Darrell Heaton, age 59, of 500 Pleasant Valley Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Thursday morning at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton W. Heaton and Anna Mae Potter Heaton and one brother, Eugene Heaton. He was a member of the Ackerson Creek Church of Christ. His hobbies were guitar, gardening and the outdoors. Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Hollifield, Marion, North Carolina; two granddaughters, Sierra Osborne and Rachel Osborne; two sisters, Wanda Arnold and husband Paul and Brenda Church and a special friend, Cecil Kaylor. Several nieces and nephews also survive and a special friend, Robert Pennington . Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2014 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel with Mr. Herman Trivette officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Active pallbearers are: Jamey Church, Michael Phagan, Shay Phagan, Johnny , and Robert Pennington. Honorary pallbearers are Cecil Kaylor, Mike Church, Dr. Floyd Barker and Paul Arnold. Friends may call at the residence, 500 Pleasant Valley Road, Mountain City, TN at any time.
