Daureen W Tedder

We are saddened to announce the passing of Daureen W. Tedder, age 72, in the Mountain City Care Center on Sunday April 26, 2020. She was born May 5, 1947 to the late Cletus and Charlotte Reynolds Waggy. Daureen attended Southside Freewill Baptist Church and she enjoyed singing, music, cooking, TCM movies and Disney movies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Janet Greene; brothers Perry Waggy and Eddie Waggy and an infant son Dennis Tedder Survivors include her husband Dale Tedder of Mountain City, TN; daughter Carol Tedder of Lenoir, NC;son Danny Tedder of Mountain City, TN; sister Carol Mink of Mountain City; five brothers: Phillip Waggy of Manassas, VA; Gary Waggy of Fredericksburg, VA Norman Waggy of Greensboro, NC David Waggy of Leesburg, VA and Danny Waggy of Coburn, VA three grandchildren: Jason Tedder, Ricky Norris and Robby Norris and several nieces and nephews The family will have a private gathering at Hux & Lipford Funeral home Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with a service to follow in Philippi Cemetery.
