David Long

David Maynard Long, 55, Born in Germany on June 6th, 1960, peacefully passed away Friday, September 11th, 2015 at his home in Butler, TN. He is survived by his wife Marisa Long, his mother Christine Long Neubert, his sister Andrea Long Hines and his brother Steven Sipe. David was a beloved Uncle, his nieces Misty Payne, Layna Payne, Kaydence Payne and Charley Sipe. And nephews Luke sipe and Jace sipe. David also leaves behind his companion and much loved dog BAM-BAM. As well as many friends, he cared about. David was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Maynard Long. David especially enjoyed the outdoors fishing, hiking, and kayaking. He loved the Mountains and his favorite Season in Tennessee was the Fall, watching the leaves change color. He also loved being near or on the lake. Another hobby was off roading in his pride and joy, "Miscue" his Jeep. Despite his illness, and being on Dialysis he never complained. David was also a supporter of Organ donation. He loved and enjoyed making people laugh and helping others. David loved and trusted in the Lord. And that is where he got his strength.
