David C. Williams, age 54 of 198 Crestview Drive, Mountain City, TN passed away on Sunday, October 3rd, 2010 at his residence. He was a native of Washington County, VA. David was an avid fisherman and loved his family. He was a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church and was a designer of mining equipment. David was preceded in death by his father, John Williams. Survivors are: Wife: Kathy Wilson Williams, of the home Daughter: Laura Lowe and husband Bobby Laurel Bloomery, TN Son: Calvin Williams, of the home Mother: Ruby Gilbert Williams Mountain City, TN Sister: Joan Williams Mountain City, TN Brother: Tim Williams and wife Joanie Damascus, VA Granddaughter: Haley Lowe Grandson: Josh Lowe Funeral service for David C. Williams will be conducted at 8:00p.m.Thursday from Our Hero's Chapel of the Johnson County Funeral Home with pastors, Tom Prater, Dean Smith and Kristy Banes to officiate. Pallbearers will be, Jeremy Farrow, Chris Farrow, Jon Williams, Josh Williams, Benson Price, and Freddie Tester. Honorary pallbearers are the Personnel of Joy Mining Company. Graveside service and interment will be 2:00p.m.Friday, October 8th, 2010 at the Phillippi Cemetery. Rev. Steve Phillippi will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 7th, 2010 prior to the funeral service. Friends may also call at the residence 198 Crestview Drive, Mountain City at any time.
