Dee-Ana Roark, age 54, of 233 Pedro Shoun Lane-Lot #2, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at the Johnson County Health Center. A native of Johnson County, she was born on March 24, 1950 to the late Curckers and Shellie Williams Roark. In addition to her parents, Dee-Ana was preceded in death by one brother, Roby Roark. She was a member of the Rock Springs Church of Christ. Dee-Ana is survived by one daughter, Marlane Roark; one son, Austin Vernon Roark; one sister, Wanda Woodard; four brothers, Boyd Roark, Eddie Roark, Bill William, all of Mountain City, and Bob Roark of Creston, North Carolina; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Dee-Ana will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2004 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Harold Morefield to officiate. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2004 from the Greer Cemetery (Greer Mountain). Active Pallbearers will be: Jim Greer, Lonnie Isaacs, Junior Williams, Brian Roark, Jerry Williams and D.J. Fritts. Honorary Pallbearer is: Randall Woodard. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to Services at Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Family, Friends and Pallbearers are asked to assemble by 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Greer Cemetery for Services. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence of Dee-Ana's brother, Bill Williams, 955 Chestnut Drive, Mountain City, Tennessee.
