Debby Christine Romanger-Isaacs

Debby Christine Rominger-Isaacs, age 60 of Mountain City, TN passed away in her home after an extended illness.  Debby was born Nov. 1, 1957, in Siler City, NC to the late Henry and Marjorie Laws Rominger.  Debby was also preceded in death by her brother, John Henry “Bud” Rominger.

Debby worked as an artist and in retail sales at Mast General Store in North Carolina most of her adult life.  Debby attended Dyson Grove Baptist Church.  When Debby was not working she enjoyed being outside where she could look for arrowheads, enjoy the natural beauty around her, gazing at the stars, and painting.

Debby will live on in the memories of those that loved her most.  Survivors include her four daughters, Tammy Donovan of Nashville, TN, Bobby Jo Smith of Linville, NC, and Diann Orantes, of Missouri, and Melissa Danner of Mt. City, TN, three sisters, Pamela Lopez-Gomez and husband Martinez, Angela Romanger, and Lois Guy all of North Carolina, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Larry Coffey and Steve Hipshire.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 22, 2018 at 4pm in the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chaple.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hux & Lipford Funeral Home.
