Ms. Debra Sue Ward Hatley, age 50, of 3595 Clarks Chapel Road, Lenoir, N.C., passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 16th, 2007 at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital of Lenior N.C. She was a native of Johnson County, Tennessee. She was born on November 16th, 1956 to the late Bob Duke Ward and Marson Sue Ward Greenwell in addition to her Father she was preceded in death by two Brothers, Ricky Ward, and Tim Ward, also a nephew, Jerry Dean Hodge. She was a member of the Sugar Grove Baptist Church, of Butler, Tennessee. Ms. Hatley was a homemaker who liked to garden, Loved Flowers, Birds, and Afghans'. Survivors include Husband and "Friend for life" Lonnie Joe Hatley; of the home. Three Sons; Bob and Michelle of Nashville, Tennessee. Danny of Bristol, Tennessee and Joseph and Tosha, Butler, Tennessee. Her Mother Marson Sue Ward Greenwell One sister, Lesa Hodge and Husband, Jerry of Valley Forge, Tennessee. Two grandchildren, Cassandra Leann Hatley, Butler, Tennessee. and Michelle of Nashville, Tennessee. Nieces and Nephews Casey Jones, of Georgia, Christy Ward, and Ricky Dean Ward both of Elizabethton, Tennessee, also special friends Gary Clark and Emily Fransico and many more. Funeral services for Debra Sue Ward Hatley will be held on Tuesday, June 19th, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Cable officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 20th 2007 from Dugger Cemetery, Butler, Tennessee. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the funeral services. Pallbearers will be Keith Gregg, Scotty Reece, Gervis Greenwell, Brandon Greenwell and friends and family.
