Della R. Fritts

Della R. Fritts, age 72, of 2435 Campbell Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 in Sycamore Shores Hospital, Elizabethton, TN. She was born September 27, 1942 to the late Dale and Hadley Campbell. She was a member of Gospel Way Missionary Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. Della loved gardening and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son David Junior Fritts. Survivors include: her husband of 52 years, Roy Fritts, Jr. of the home; one daughter: Elizabeth Dugger and husband Randolph, Jr. of Mountain City, TN; one son: Michael Fritts of Mountain City, TN; two grandchildren: Randall Dugger, Chris Dugger of Mountain City, TN; three great grandchildren: Raydan Dugger, Roman Dugger and Jada Dugger, all of Mountain City, TN; several nieces and nephews and special friends Cathy Bunting and Peggy Hawkins. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014 from the East Side Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside service and interment will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Loren Garland, Justin Garland, Jonathan Lunceford, Randall Dugger, Chris Dugger and Clyde Dugger. Honorary pallbearers will be Doe Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Robert Fritts, Buster Fritts and Bill Lipford. Friends may call at the residence, 2435 Campbell Road, Mountain City, TN at any time.
