Obituary for: Della Rae Sluder Della Rae Martin, Sluder, age 79, of 1093 Heritage Farm Road, Hickory, N.C., passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at her residence. She was born May 3, 1931 to the late Nick Martin and Rebecca Reece Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 daughter Elizabeth Sluder and 1 son Steve Sluder. She Loved Gardening and her Cats. She is survived by a grandson Stephen Sluder, Germany, 3 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews and Friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00p.m. Friday April 22, 2011 in the Eastside Memory chapel of the Hux Lipford Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Stidham will be officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00p.m. To 3:00p.m. Prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.hux-lipfordfh.com.
