Delmer H. Main

Delmer H. Main, age 79, of 123 Main Lane, Shady Valley, TN passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011 at his residence. He was the son of the late Dana Main and Ada Watson Main. Mr. Main was a retired driver for First Tennessee Human Resources. Delmer was a member of Crandull Church of Christ. His hobbies included fishing and he was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Joann Main. Survivors include: his wife, Shirley Main, of the home; two daughters: Gay Hensley of Damascus, VA and Louise Doss of Elizabethton; three sons:; Ronnie Main and wife Sherry, Arthur Main and wife Bonnie, and Lewis Main, all of Shady Valley, TN; four sisters: Velma Blevins of Damascus, VA; Ruth Wallace, Dorothy Wallace and Mary Mains, all of Shady Valley, TN; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from the Crandull Church of Christ in Shady Valley, TN with Mr. Tracy Dugger officiating.
