Dennis Carroll "L.V" Potter

Mr. Dennis Carroll "L.V." Potter, age 60, of 365 Morefield Road, Butler, TN passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born January 20, 1953 to the late Lloyd F. Potter, Sr. and Dorothy Fletcher Potter. Dennis was of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing and making his friends laugh. Survivors include: his fiancé, Teresa Brown, of the home; five sisters: Marie Mahala of Mountain City, TN; Sandra Miller, Lois Potter, Deloris Hawkins and Betty Hodge, all of Butler, TN; two brothers: Lloyd Potter, Jr. and John Potter, both of Butler, TN; special friends: John Lowe, Carl Buchanan and Randy Moody. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2013 from Dyson Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Fletcher officiating. The family will receive friends at from 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Dyson Grove Cemetery.
