Desmal Johnson

Desmal Johnson, age 75, of 124 Robert Lefler Lane, Mountain City, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2003 at the Johnson City Medical Center after an extended illness. Ms. Johnson was a native of Landgraff, West Virginia and was born on April 14, 1928 to the late Robert Russell and Sarah Bessie Quesenberry Lefler. She worked at Iron Mountain Stone Ware, Blue Ridge Shoe Company, and Johnson County Hospital. She loved raising exotic birds, guinea pigs, and small animals. Funeral services for Desmal Johnson will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, April 20, 2003 at the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home chapel with Mr.. Jim Hutchinson to officiate.
