Dolly Shoun

y” ShouHelma “Dolln age 89 of 857 N. Church Street, Mountain City passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 in the Mountain City Care Center following an extended illness. She was a native of Lake County, Hammond, Indiana. Mrs. Shoun was a daughter of the late Charles and Faye Younce Warner, she was a member of the Liberty Chrisitan Church and a member of the Liberty Church ladies aid. She loved needlework and sewing. Mrs Shoun was preceded in death by Doran Shoun and a Grandson Larry Dunn. She was a homemaker and a retired factory worker.

 

Survivors; include: Four daughters: Deane and husband Eddie Brooks, Mountain City, TN

                                                          Jo Ellen Shoun of Mountain City

                                                          Reba and Husband Jack Taylor of Mountain City

                                                          Debbie and husband Gene Stevenson of Clyde, NC

 

                              One son: Stuart Shoun and Fiancee Reba Mashburn, Mtn. View, NC

                     

                              One sister: Reba Simerly of Mountain City

7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson and many special friends.

 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from the Henson Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jim Hutchinson to officiate.

Burial will be in the Phillippi Cemetery

Pallbearers will be: Steve Shoun, Robbie Brittain, Robert Dunn, Daniel Taylor,

                                Doug Taylor and Matt Dunn

Honorary pallbearers will be: James Lefler, Dean Arnold, Randy Morley and Jack Johnson

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, Tenn. 37683

The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:00 p. m. Prior the funeral services at the Funeral Home Chapel.   Friends may call at the family residence, 857 N. Church Street, Mountain City
