Donald I. Wilson, age 71, of 281 Joe Wallace Road, Trade, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at his residence. He was born on September 26, 1934 in Harmon, Virginia to the late William Smith Wilson and Ada Lillian (Jordan) Wilson. Donald was a United States Air Force Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Annie Wilson, of the home; one daughter, Connie Lloyd of Pounding Mill, Virginia; four step-daughters: Joyce Ray Bundy of Scio, Oregon, Melody Crosswhite of Bluff City, Tennessee, Joy Roche of Lincolnton, North Carolina and Della Hopson of Sevierville, Tennessee; two sons: Brian Wilson of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Donald Ray Wilson of Wilmington, North Carolina; two step-sons: Jack Wilson and George Wilson, both of Elizabethton, Tennessee; three sisters: Mary Haag of Sacramento, California, Reba Warren of Ervin, Texas and Carol Frear of Pennsylvania; two brothers: Bobby Wilson of Abingdon, Virginia and Larry Wilson of Glade Spring, Virginia and two grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Donald I. Wilson will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2006 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Stidham and Rev. Johnny Price to officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, prior to the Service at the funeral home. Graveside Services and Interment will follow from the Sunset Memorial Park, Mountain City, Tennessee. Active Pallbearers will be family and friends of Donald. At other times friends may call at the residence, 281 Joe Wallace Road, Trade, Tennessee 37691. Memorials may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683. Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.hux-lipford.com.
