Donald Marsh

We are saddened to announce the passing of E. Donald Marsh Jr. who was born February 21, 1965 in High Point, NC. He followed his paternal grandparents W. Thomas and Sadie Marsh, maternal grandparents Jesse and Ruth Crater, his father Elmo D. Marsh Sr., his mother Patte Jane Crater Marsh and his younger sister, Jayna Suellen Marsh into Heaven on March 27, 2020. He was 55 years old. He is survived by his wife, Christelle Krüger Marsh and her parents Pieter and Ina Krüger, her siblings Tiaan, Leandi and Frederik Krüger as well as his extended family including but not limited to Richard, Joyce and Robin Berrier, Rick, Genna, Richard, Mickey Whitt and their sister Traci Correll. Donald loved living in the Blue Ridge Mountains and adored his many furbabies over the years. He is a member of First Christian Church of Mountain City. He was a prankster to the end and had lots of fun with Christelle and the nurses in ICU. His facetious sense of humor will be missed by many. As there will be no calling hours a memorial service will be announced later.
