Donnie Denney

Donnie Denney, age 50, of 537 Furnace Creek Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at his home. A native of Johnson County, Tennessee, he was born January 25, 1953 to the late Delmer Ray Denney and Ruby Stanley Noland. Donnie enjoyed fishing and attended the God's Country Church. In addition to his mother, Donnie is survived by one brother; Dean Denney of Mountain City, Tennessee, three sisters; Dorothy "Suzie" Johnson and Linda Taylor of Mountain City, Tennessee and Betty Jo Farmer of Damascus, Virginia and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Donnie Denney will be held 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2003 from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Manuel to officiate. Family will receive friends 6-7:00 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Stanley Cemetery Sunday, December 28, 2003. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, Tennessee.
