Dorothy Potter Scheidigger, age 69, of 122 Sycamore Road, Dickson, TN, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2003 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee after an extended illness. Ms. Scheidigger was a native of Johnson County and was born the late Dave and Hattie McElyea Potter on December 24, 1933. She was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Scheidigger, and two brothers, Simon Bud Potter and James O.Potter. Survivors: (5) Sisters: Doris Potter, Butler, TN Ruth Clawson, Mountain City, TN Betty Jenkins, Mountain City, TN Kathleen Hodges, Johnson City, TN Eula Hatley, Hudson, NC Special Nephew: Marvin Clawson, Diskson, Tennesseee. Hux-Lipford Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements. Funeral services for Dorothy Scheidigger will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Sunday, February 16, 2003 at the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Greene and Rev. Richard Jones to officiate. Graveside Services will be 2 P.M. Monday from the Sugar Grove Cemetery Pallbearers will be Michael Dugger, Creag Dugger, Brad Dugger, Jim Phillips, Joe Clawson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Donald Walters, Jesse Cable, Michael Hatley, Gary Hatley, and Eulain Payne. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, February 16, 2003 at the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Friends may also call at the home of Jack and Betty Jenkins, 483 Hospital Road, Mountain City, at any time.
