Doug Biguen Lawson

Doug "Big'en" Lawson, age 58, of 787 Fred Wallace Road, Trade, TN passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at the Johnson County Health Center following an extended illness. He was a native of Killarney, West Virginia and was born July 25, 1945 to the late Paris W. and Thelma V Lilly Lawson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Jo Ann McKinney. Mr. Lawson enjoyed playing horseshoes, deer hunting, fishing and was a Member of the Center View Church of Christ. Survivors include: (3) Sisters: Nola Reece and Husband E.J., Trade, TN Ruth "Nip" Lawson, Trade, TN Gail "Billie" McKinney, Mountain City, TN (2) Brothers: Al Lawson and wife Ilene,Mountain City, TN Darlow "Nink" Lawson, Knoxville, TN Special Friends: Sonny and Marie Porter, Trade, TN Several Nieces and Nephews. Hux-Lipford Funeral Home in charge of the Arrangements. Funeral Services for Doug "Biguen" Lawson, Age 58, of 787 Fred Wallace Road, Trade TN will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2003 from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Mr. Bart Winegar to officiate. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2003 at the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Active Pallbearers will be: Johnny Miller, Jay Miller, John Alexander, Paris D. Lawson, Joe "Bubby" Stevens and Jake Dorman. Honorary Pallbearers are: Zack Dorman, Todd Lawson, Rick Morefield, Rick Shelton, Blake Lawson, Ashley Lawson, DJ Stevens, Ricky Ray Shelton, Johnny Ray Miller, Jeremy Alexander and Bronson Alexander.
