Dr. John Jack Whitlock

Dr. John “Jack” Whitlock age 78 of Boone passed away August 16, 2026.

Dr. Whitlock’s medical career from graduation to the present was spent first in Mountain City, Tennessee, then in Boone, North Carolina. He never for one moment wanted to serve or live anywhere else. He was surrounded by good decent people and in one of the most beautiful places.

A private family service will be held in Maryland.
