Edd Brown, age 69, of 1189 Modock Road, Trade, TN passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 in the Johnson County Community Hospital. He was a son of the late General Brown and Dovie Penell Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of Zionsville Baptist Church and he loved Christian music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: General Clay Brown, Wesley Brown, Earl Brown and Raleigh Brown: one sister, Julia Mae Hodge and a brother-in-law, Ray Brown. Survivors include: three sisters: Iva Lee Robinson and husband Charles and Vera Lee Brown, both of Trade, TN and Fay Hodge of Morganton, NC; one sister-in-law: Shirley Brown of Trade, TN; a special little friend Emma Garcia of Trade, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Edd Brown will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from the East Side Memory Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Max Greene and Rev. Steven Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. The graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 8, 2011 from Trade United Methodist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Robinson, Aaron Brown, Jerry Hodge, Butler Reece, Gene Laws and Eugene Head. Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Mountain City Care Center and Dr. Jim Shine.
