Eddie Eggers

Eddie Eggers, age 74, of Payson, Arizona passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025. He was born July 17, 1951 to the late Taft and rosa Eggers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Lipford, Shirley Jenkins, Wanda Brown and brother Earl Eggers.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Liz Balsano Eggers of Payson, Arizona; sisters, Sue Wilson of Elizabethton, TN, Phyllis Parker of Trade, TN; brother, Ted Eggers and wife Jan of Bristol, TN;  brother-in-law, Bill Brown of Mountain city,TN;  and several nieces, nephews and friends.  

Growing up and all thoughout life Eddie very much enjoyed the great outdoors and all it had to offer.  He was an avid outdoorsman, exploring the mountains of Tennessee all the way to Arizona.  Eddie and his wife, Liz spent a lot of time together on their side by side riding across the Arizona Mountains hunting and fishing.  Eddie throughly enjoyed hunting Elk during his time out west.  He also had a nak for fixing things.  He was a handyman for not only his family and friends but strangers as well.  He spent time helping others with projects whether that was building decks or fixing faucets.  Eddie was truly a remarkable man whom was a jack-of-all-trades. 

A memorial service and inurnment will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, August 16, 2025 in the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum of Love with Brad Gentry presiding.
