Edith F. Hall

Ms. Edith F. Hall, age 88, of 516 Deer Run Road, Mountain City, TN passed away on Tuesday January 24, 2012 in Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol, TN. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Forrester and Eva Lewis Forrester. Ms. Hall loved number find puzzles, sewing, flowers and quilting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luke A. Hall, and a son, Charlie Hall. Survivors include: three daughters: Ruth Hall, Sharon Price and husband Dennis and Kathy Reece and husband Roger, all of Mountain City, TN; one sister: Lennith Arnold of Mountain City, TN; one brother: Glenn Forrester of Mountain City; six grandchildren; several step grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Janice Potter, of Mountain City, TN. Funeral services for Edith F. Hall will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 from the Memory Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Icenhour officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 from Forrester-Lewis Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Price, Elmer Potter, Roger Reece and Bud Hatley. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
