Edith Ivalee Williams of Mountain City Tennessee passed away on July 15, 2026, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born April 21, 1946, in Carter County Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Margaret and George Williams. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers Earl, Lewis "Harold", Robert "Bob", and Carl "Fuzz", 4 sisters Lena Jones, Margaret "Betty" Hopson, Rosie "Pearl" Hilton, and Sandra "Sandy" Brock, a great niece Addison Grace Shepherd, 2 nephews Greg Pritchard, James "Jimmy" Hopson and 1 niece Ruth Ann Hilton. 

Ivy was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Mountain City. She worked for many years at Levis, Phoenix, and Burlington Mills. Ivy had many talents including sewing, crocheting, and spoiling her nieces, nephews, as well as her great nieces and nephews. 

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Jewel Williams, 2 sisters Patricia "Trish" Collins and Carolyn Prichard Campbell, many nieces, nephews and cousins, 2 sisters-in-law Cassie Church and Donnie Dugger, 1 brother-in-law Eddie Williams, as well as many good friends and neighbors.

 A Service to Celebrate the Life of Edith will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Tuesday July 21, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gale Hartley officiating. Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in the Grindstaff Cemetery (Siam Community) with Pastor Justin Deaton officiating. Music will be provided by Donna Shepherd and Kevin Collins. Minister. Pallbearers- Jeff Hilton, David Shepherd, Kevin Collins, Chase Williams, Dillon Williams, Eddie Williams. Honorary Pallbearers- Brian Pritchard, Family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday to go to the cemetery.
