Elizabeth L. Mccoy

Elizabeth L. McCoy, age 67, of 399 Laurel Road, Mountain City, TN passed away, Thursday January 26, 2006 in the Johnson City Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Ashe County, North Carolina and was born August 31, 1938 to the late Berdie Cornett. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior McCoy a son, Frank McCoy and one brother, David Stuart. She was a LPN and a member of Vaughts Gap Baptist Church. She loved caring for the elderly. Survivors include: Three daughters: Debra McCoy of Mountain City Denise McCoy of Sevierville, TN Anna McCoy of Corryton, TN One sister: Wanda Timbs of Mountain City Special friends: Mrs. Ralph Wallace and Jennie Lee Moody Six grandchildren, three great grandchildren several nieces and nephews also survive A Memorial graveside service will be held 2:00 p. m. Sunday from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Johnson to officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence, 399 Laurel Road, Mountain City at anytime.
