Evelyn Sewell

We are saddened to announce the passing of Evelyn Rebecca Sewell, at the age of 70, who passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her residence. She was born on February 27, 1951 in Johnson County, Tennessee to the late Edward Dunn and Raydell McCoy Dunn. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by a daughter, Lisa Anderson; brothers: Geda Dunn, Hobert Dunn, and Danny Dunn; sisters: Shirley Sheets, Peggy Barton, and Patsy Forrester; and sister-in-law Kathy Dunn. She was a homemaker and a 1969 graduate of J.C.H.S. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had also driven a school bus for 15 years. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Rodney Sewell of the home; daughter, Becky Sewell (Bob) of Mountain City, TN; son-in-law, Marty Anderson; brother, Ronnie Dunn of Mountain City, TN; grandchildren: Josh Anderson, Eric (Mary) Ward, Taylor Ward, Nicole Ward and Ethan Ward; and great grandchildren: Jayden Anderson, Avery Anderson and Zane Ward. The family would like to extended a special thank you to Amedysis Hospice, Joannie McQueen and CNA Jenetta Lunceford for the care provided during her illness. Graveside service will be conducted Saturday, March 27, 2021 in the Sunset Memorial Park at 4 p.m. with Will Kerley to officiate. Pallbearers will be: Josh Anderson, Eric Ward, Scott Barton, Michael Sewell, Ethan Ward, Bob Stout, Marty Anderson and Adam Ward. Honorary Pallbearers are Ronnie Dunn, Aaron Freeman, Robby Sewell, Jayden Anderson and Zane Ward. At other times friends may call at the family Residence 218 Shouns Street, Mountain City, TN.
