Everett Dunn

Raymond Everett Dunn 91, of Mountain City Tennessee, formally of West Grove, PA passed away peacefully January 29, 2024. He was the husband of Pearl Willen Dunn with whom he shared 58 years of marriage before her passing in 2013.

Raymond was born January 19th, 1933 in Mountain City, Tennessee to the late William and Rebecca Lear (Dishman) Dunn.  Raymond was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He worked for Hurlock roofing for 30 years and after retiring he enjoyed mowing for Inniscrone Golf Course.  He loved Blue grass music, strumming his mandolin, hunting, playing the slots, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

Raymond leaves behind four children Joyce Martinez of Mountain City ,TN Brenda Rosazza (Stephen) of Avondale,PA Raymond Dunn Jr of West Grove, PA and Christopher Dunn(Elizabeth) of Oxford, PA; two sisters Beulah Clampitt, Laura Lipford and two brothers Ernest  Dunn and Bob Dunn all of Mountain City.  Raymond had six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren  and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl, daughter Virginia Dunn, brothers Orville Dunn and Floyd Dunn and sisters Mable Barlow, Leona Pennington, Trula Lipford, Ritha Dunn, Louise Robinson, Nell Brown Smiley.

You are invited to visit with his family from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday February 5th, 2024, at Hux and Lipford Funeral Home 300 W Main Street Mountain City, TN and on Wednesday February 7th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Kuzo Funeral Home, 250 W State Street, Kennett Square PA.  A funeral service celebrating his life will follow at 11:00 am.  Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square.
