Faye Payne Lipford

Faye Payne Lipford, age 90, of Chesapeake, Virginia passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2004. A native of Shouns, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Roby Payne and Margaret Osborne Payne. Faye was preceded in death by her husband; Claude Lipford and two sons; Gwin Lipford and Sherwood Lipford. She was a member of Faith Chapel of LaBelle, Florida. Faye is survived by her son; Robert Lipford and wife Izetta, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Funeral Services for Faye Payne Lipford will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2004 from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Tazewell, Virginia. Active Pallbearers are: Robert W. Lipford, Tim Payne, Gray Lipford, John Payne, Ray Payne, Howard Winters, Allen King and Albert Brown.
