Fern Arnold

We are saddened to announce the passing of Fern Arnold, age 76, on Friday, June 17, 2022, at her residence. She was born January 15, 1946 to the late Floyd Cable and Ruth Dishman Cable. She is also preceded in death by her brothers; Billy and Bobby Cable and two sisters; Jewel Arnold and Xenia Tester. She was a homemaker and a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, Flowers and music. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, Jack Arnold, daughter; Jackie Lynn Arnold, (Jerry Hall) Butler, TN. two sisters; Myrtle Corum Butler, TN and Brenda Dildine of Trinity, N.C. Two granddaughters; Cayla Meade (Erick Winters) Bristol, TN and Megan Meade Mountain City, TN. Special Nephew Eric Arnold Butler, TN and several other nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service will be at 5:00 pm on Monday, June 20, 2022 in the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux & Lipford Funeral Home. Tony Potter will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5pm prior to the funeral service.
