Flora Olive Hall Church Flora Olive Hall Church, age 92, of the Neva Community, Mountain City, TN passed away Saturday, July 19, 2003 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Creston, North Carolina and was born May 11, 1911 to the late Elic and Ada Price Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Cross Church, who died in March of 1960, three daughters, Nell Pealer, Connie Osborne and Bell Church, one son, Junior Church, four sisters Clydie May Kimberlin, Varie Woody, Goldie Hardin and Marthie Short, six brothers, Jim Hall, Charlie Hall, Quincy Hall, Odell Hall, Alma Hall and Frank Hall. Ms Church was a Homemaker, enjoyed drawing, gardening, sewing, and visiting with her family and friends and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors Include: (2) Daughters: Ethel Tolley, Elizabethton, TN Cledith Perkins, Mountain City, TN (7) Sons: Ed Church, Garden City, Michigan AG Church, Johnson City, TN Glenn Church, Mountain City, TN Ronnie Church, Mountain City, TN Rick Church, Mountain City, TN Walt Church, Butler, TN Doug Church, Butler, TN (1) Sister: Pearl Statler, California 34 Grandchildren, many Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special Friend, Paulan Markham of Hillsview Center, Elizabethton, TN. Hux-Lipford Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements. Funeral services for Flora Olive Hall Church, age 92, of the Neva Community, Mountain City, TN will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2003 from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Brother Bruce Simcox officiating. Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great Grandsons. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 22, 2003 from 7-9:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers Donations may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
