Flora Lee Taylor

Flora Lee Taylor, age 83, of Heritage Acres Apartments, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2006. She was a native of Johnson County, Tennessee and was born on June 20, 1923 to the late Bill and Ollie Winters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Taylor; one son, Danny Taylor and one daughter, Shirley Hall. Flora enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by two daughters: April Pierce of Butler, Tennessee and Mae Jackson of Chesapeake, Maryland; two sons: Van Taylor of Mountain City, Tennessee and Robert Taylor of Poolesville, Maryland; one sister, Eula Mae Winters of Mountain City, Tennessee; one brother, Claude Winters of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Flora Lee Taylor will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2006 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel with Rev. Doug Stidham to officiate. Private Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted on Sunday, November 12, 2006 from the Cornett Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends of Flora. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the Funeral Service, at the funeral home.
