Floyd Milhan

Floyd "Big Sid" Milhan, age 99, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Mountain City Care Center. He was born September 6, 1915 to the late Rolan Milhan and Ethel Moran Milhan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Mink Milhan. Survivors include: one daughter: Sharon Milhan; and two sons: Floyd Milhan and Larry Milhan. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Spencer officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Active pallbearers will be selected from friends.
