Frances Louise Blankenbeckler-Collins, age 80, of Kingman, Arizona, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2005 in the Gardens Nursing Home. She was born in Mountain City, Tennessee on February 12, 1925 to the late Marion H. and Chloe May Blankenbeckler. She resided in Washington, D.C. until 1986 when she retired from the American University and moved to Kingman, Arizona. Frances is a member of the First Christian Church of Mountain City, Tennessee. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Collins of Kingman, Arizona; two step-daughters: Shannon and Shayne; sisters: Lois Jean Wilson of Bluff City, Tn, Wilma Sue Henley of Johnson City, Tn; brother: Loyd "Brownie" Blankenbeckler of Mountain City, Tn; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins also survive. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by brothers: James Sherwood Blankenbeckler, Marion Harold Blankenbeckler and Boyd "Blackie" Blankenbeckler; sister: Nancy Marie Elliott. Graveside Memorial Services and Inurnment will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2005 from the Sunset Memorial Park, Mountain City, Tennessee with Mr. Jim Hutchinson to officiate. Family and Friends are asked to assemble at the Cemetery by 2:45 on Saturday for Services. Music will be under the direction of Ms. Sherry Tester.
