Frank B. Robinson, age 93, of 1800 Bulldog Road, Trade, Tennessee, passed away May 26, 2004 following an extended illness. A native of Trade, Tennessee, he was born July 6, 1911 to the late Henry and Sarah Eggers Robinson. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by three sons, Dallas, Marlin and Jim Robinson; two wives, Mammie Reece Robinson and Ollie M. Robinson; two brothers, Landrind Robinson and George W. Robinson and one sister, Lura Robinson May. Frank was a former Road Superintendent for the Johnson County Highway Department, mechanic and farmer. He enjoyed wrestling and racing. He was a member of the Mountain City Church of Christ. Frank is survived by one daughter, Shirley Hedges of Mountain City; three sons, Eugene Robinson of Fairmont, West Virginia, Frank D. "Bud" Robinson and Billy F. Robinson, both of Mountain City; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren,four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Frank will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2004 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Mike Taylor to officiate. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 31, 2004 from the Sunset Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers are members of the Johnson County Rescue Squad. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday prior to services at the Funeral Home Chapel. At other times, friends may call at the residences of daughter, Shirley Hedges, 111 Hubert Taylor Road, Mountain City, Tennessee or son, Frank "Bud" Robinson, 106-B Margaret Street, Mountain City, Tennessee. Family and Friends are asked to assemble at 9:45 a.m. Monday for Graveside Services at Sunset Memorial Park.
