Fred Donald Walsh, age 84 of 4289 Hwy 67W Mountain City, Tennessee passed away on Friday December 11, 2009 at the Mountain City Care Center. Mr. Walsh really enjoyed working in his lawn and repairing lawn mowers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Eugene and Rosa Trivette Walsh; one sister, Eunice Manuel; two brothers,
Jerry “Geter” B. Walsh and Thomas R. Walsh, Sr.
Survivors include his wife Bessie Haag Lindsey-Walsh of Mountain City, Tennessee; one daughter Susan J. Waltman of Nottingham, Pennsylvania; two step-daughters, Robin E. Ross and husband R. Christopher of West Chester, Pennsylvania and Rebecca E. Lindsey and husband John Wertz of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania; one son Larry F Walsh and wife Margaret of Wilmington, Delaware; one step-son Richard E. Lindsey, Jr and wife Kim of New Tripoli, Pennsylvania; two sisters Ruby Dowell and husband Junior of Pahrump, Nevada and Betty Popjoy. Two Granddaughters; Amy and Megan Walsh of Wilmington, Delaware, one step granddaughter Rachael Lindsey of New Tripoli, Pennsylvania; five step grandsons, Patrick and Sabastian Ross West Chester, Pennsylvania, Ryan Lindsey of New Tripoli, Pennsylvania, Jackson and Jake Wertz of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. Several nieces and nephews and former wife Snow Maxwell Walsh also survive.
A memorial service for Mr. Walsh will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Rainbow Mennonite Church with Pastor Gary Gambill to officiate. At a date and time to be determined the cremains of Mr. Walsh will scattered at a private ceremony. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm prior the memorial service.
