Gail M. Skaggs

Gail M. Skaggs, age 66, of 556 Stout Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016. She was born March 3, 1950 to Robert Miller of Lansing, Il and the late Margaret King Miller. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by one son; Joseph Simmons, one daughter; Diana Heruth, and one sister; Vivian Suttles. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, reading, bowling, and gardening. She was a member of TN Sunrise Quilt Guild.

She is survived by her husband Leon Skaggs, two daughters: Rebekah Boyd and husband Thomas of Mountain City, TN and Margaret Fosdal and husband Mark of Lansing, IL, five grandsons, one granddaughter; Rachel Fosdal, two great grandchildren, and three nieces and nephews. Special friends Lorraine Darocha, Ann Rhymer, and the Ladies of TN Sunrise Quilt Guild also survive.

There will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2016 from Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steven Spencer officiating.
