Gary Y. Hagler

Gary Hagler, age 73, of Bristol, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Select Specialty Hospital, Bristol, Tennessee. He was born in Boone, North Carolina October 2, 1941 to the late Weston Hagler and Biddie Lee Hagler. Gary was a United States Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter and one sister. Survivors include: his wife, Helen Hagler; one daughter, Ava and her Husband Derrick of Roanoke, Virginia; one son, Randle Hagler of Bristol, Tennessee; four brothers, Richard Hagler of Mountain City, TN; Kenneth Hagler of Mountain City, TN; Weston"Junior" Hagler of Mountain City, TN; Walter Hagler of California; five Grandchildren, five Great Grandchildren; special friends, Thomas Preston and Roland Ross and several nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Haglers wake will be on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from the East side Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home, from 2-3 p.m. We will then go in procession to the Holy Hill Cemetery for the graveside service with Rev. Ernie Widby conducting the service. Active pallbearers will be Bass Jackson, Roland Ross, Richard Hagler, Kelvin Thomas, Joey Thomas and Randall Hagler.
