Gary Lee Main

Gary Lee Main, age 62, of Shady Valley, TN, passed away in Mountain City, on June 11, 2025 at 1:30 a.m. after a long battle with cancer.  He is preceded in death by his father, Kit Carson Main; mother, Annie Ruth Main and three nephews, Gary Lipford, Johnny Blevins and Josh Dillard.  

Survivors include five sisters, Betty and husband, Robert Woods of NC, Brenda and husband, Ralph Blevins of Bristol, TN, Lena Dillard of NC, Lora Main of Abingdon, VA, Kelly and husband, Michael Shepherd of Shady Valley, TN and one brother, Allen Main Of Bristol, TN; two children, Brad Main and fiancé, Dondra Whittaker of Abingdon, VA and Monica Black and husband, David of Abingdon, VA; three grandchildren, Madison Main, Maddux Main and Luna Main.

It was Gary's wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
