Gary McCloud, age 41, of 3018 Highway 421 North, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011. He was a son of the Lorraine McCloud and the late Bill McCloud. Gary was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and an employee of Iron Mountain Construction. His hobbies included deer hunting and he was an avid Tennessee football fan. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leah Moretz and John Moretz and paternal grandfather Harry McCloud and paternal grandmother Hazel McCloud. Survivors in addition to his mother include: his wife Tammy McCloud of the home; one daughter, Ally McCloud, of the home; one brother, Larry McCloud, of Mountain City, Tennessee and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Gary McCloud will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2011 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Bunton, Rev. Carl Swift, Rev. Lonnie Denney and Rev. Sam Icenhour officiating. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Corum, George Smith, Daniel Laws, Douglas Icenhour, Nevin Snyder, Billy Icenhour, Justin Allen, Jamie Blevins and Mark Arnold. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Graybeal, Adam Hampton, Robert Leonard, Eddie Leathren, Zack Hayworth, Dennis Wills, Bill Icenhour, Jeremy Stout and Dr. Don Tarr. Graveside service and interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Friends may call at the residence, 3018 Highway 421 North, Mountain City, Tennessee at any time.
