Gary James Roberts

We are saddened to announce the passing of Gary James Roberts, 57, of Conway, South Carolina who passed on December 08, 2020. Gary was born on November 06, 1963 in West Chester, Pennsylvania to Hazel Cornett Roberts and the late Billie G. Roberts. He is survived by his daughter Faith Roberts of Hockessin DE; his son Austin Turner of Port Deposit, MD; his sister Katherine Potter of Georgia; his brother Scotty Roberts of Virginia and his mother Hazel Roberts of Tennessee. Gary retired in 2018 from Cecil County Public schools, specifically Perryville Middle School, after nearly 30 years of service. Gary was a man of few words. He stayed to himself and was also kindhearted and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Anyone who met Gary liked him and he always had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He loved sitting outside with his best friend and drinking buddy Kathyleen Biddle. He also loved his horror flicks and his favorite show Andy Griffin. It was Gary's wishes to be cremated and there will be no service at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions.
