Obituary for: George David "Dave"Burrell Jr. George David (Dave) Burrell Jr. Age 67, of 13381 Hwy 67 W, Butler, TN passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 1st 1944 to the late George and Mary Wilson Burrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Burrell two brothers, Andrew and Arthur Burrell; and one sister, Cordella Morrell. Mr. Burrell was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church and loved farming. Survivors include: his wife, Kathy Burrell, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law: Pastor David and Lisa Burrell of Bluff City, TN; three daughters: Kathy Lynn and Ray Beam, Butler, TN; Amanda and Dwayne Potter, and Carrie Eller of Mountain City, TN. Grandchildren: Andrew Beam, Kelsey Gentry, Billy Combs, Amber Burrell, Sara Burrell, Madison Potter, George Burrell, Mason Potter and McKenna Potter, soon to be here. Great-granddaughter, Alyssa Beam and arriving soon Eli Beam, and Grand Dog: Mojo. T. One sister; Gladys Dillard, Bluff City, TN Two Brothers; Jack Burrell, Burlington, N.C. and Cloyd Burrell of Johnson City, TN. Funeral Services for Dave Burrell will be conducted on Wednesday July 20, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux Lipford Funeral home with Pastor David Burrell and Rev. Terry Steele officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. from Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Interment will be Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jason Steele, Billy Combs, Andrew Beam, Danny Clark, Gregg Proffitt, Aaron Steele and Rev. Ray Branch.
