George Elmer Pritchard, age 77, of 1304 Spear Branch Road, Mountain City, TN, passed away at his residenceWednesday, February 23, 2005 after a brief illness. He was a native of Kentucky and was born February 26, 1927 to the late William Lewis and Dovie Jane Fuson Pritchard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Elaine Pritchard who passed away in 2001 and by a brother, Luke Pritchard. He was a mechanic and loved woodworking, gardening, billiards and being a handy man. Mr. Pritchard was a U. S. Army Veteran and attended the Johnson County Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include four daughters: Patti Willson, of White Lake, Michigan, Georgianna Anderegg and Denise Collins both of Warren, Michigan and Sherry Pritchard of Albuquerque, New Mexico., three sons: George Pritchard Jr, Vista, California, Chris Pritchard of Frankfort, Michigan and Daryl Pritchard of Bluff City, TN, three sisters; Jeanette Jacks, Ann Garcia and Brenda Lilly, two brothers: Tracy Pritchard of Taylor, Michigan and Richard Pritchard of Detroit, Michigan, seventeen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. A Celebration of Life Service for George Elmer and Beverly Elaine Pritchard will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the Henson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Laura Rasor to officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00. p. m. Saturday prior the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Medical Center Home Care and Hospice, 101 MedTeck Parkway, Suite 100, Johnson City, TN. 37604.
