Geraldine Tester

Obituary for: Geraldine Tester, age 78, of 188 Dovick Drive, Banner Elk, NC passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Boone, NC. She was born May 19, 1934 to the late Robert Alex Tester and Myrtle Mae Dugger Tester. She was a member of the Vaughts Gap Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and watching movies. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Tester and three brothers, Harvey Tester, Millard Tester and Ellis Tester. Survivors include: a son, Robert Tester, of Banner Elk, NC; three sisters, Vera Smith, Chapel Hill, NC, Bertha Wilcox, Mountain City, TN, and Margaret Cross, West Virginia; three brothers, Alfred Tester, Coatsville, PA, Joe Tester and Bob Tester both of Ashland, Ohio. Nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be conducted on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Donnie Tester officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Hoyle, John Blanton, Robert Cobb, Ray Moltz, Greg Tant, Jason Lankford, Luther Miller and Jeff Blackburn.
