Geraldine D. Wagner

Geraldine D. Wagner, age 66, of 460 Greggs Branch Road, Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the Watauga Medical Center following an extended illness. A native of Johnson County, Tennessee, she was born on May 31, 1938 to the late John Hamilton "Hamm" Dugger and Rebecca Hicks Dugger. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband Rondal "Bud" Wagner, three brothers and one sister. Geraldine enjoyed sewing, cooking, canning and gardening. She was of the Baptist Faith. Geraldine is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Lunceford of Butler, Tennessee; one sister, Betty Greer of Elizabethton, Tennessee; one brother, Richard Dugger of Butler, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Amanda Campbell and Andrew Campbell, both of Butler, Tennessee; mother-in-law, Ruby Wagner of Butler, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Marie Cable of Butler, Tennessee. Funeral Services for Geraldine will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 from the Midway Baptist Church with Brother Greg Thompson to officiate. Graveside Services and Interment will follow from the Wagner Family Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Larry Grindstaff, Charles William Dugger, Roger Dugger, Lloyd Greer, Bum Stout, Teddy Greer and Michael Dugger. Honorary Pallbearers are the Staff of the Mountain City Care Center. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2005 from the Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel. At other times, friends may call at the residence of Ruby Wagner, 1803 Lakeview Drive, Butler, Tennessee 37640.
