Gina Marie Chalmers

June 30, 1989 — June 18, 2008

Gina Marie Chalmers, age 18, of 245 B. Johnson Road passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at the Johnson County Community Hospital after an extended illness. She was the daughter of Patricia Broseker Wilson and James Edwin Chalmers and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included music and guitar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald Earl Broseker; maternal great grandmother, Janette Gensler; and special friend “Cherokee”.

 

Survivors include: mother and stepfather: Patricia and John Wilson of Elizabethton, TN; father: James Chalmers, Jr. of Palm Bay, FL; maternal grandmother: Cora Broseker of Mountain City, TN; paternal grandfather: James Chalmers, Sr. of Baltimore, MD; one brother: James “Bubba” Broseker of Mountain City, TN; godparents: Jean Ann and Joe Savery of Mountain City, TN; uncle: John “J.B.” and Tammy Broseker of Mountain City, TN; special cousin: Tabitha and Mark Smith of Mountain City, TN; special friends: Sandra and Buddy Barrett of Mountain City, TN: and several cousins.

 

Funeral services for Gina Marie Chalmers will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008 from First United Methodist Church with Don Morris officiating. Pallbearers will be Joe Savery and friends and family. Graveside services and interment will follow services in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2008 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel at Hux-Lipford Funeral Home.

 

Friends may call at Hux-Lipford Funeral Home at any time.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Relay for Life.
